Summer Plum (Winter Version)

The next day I got up and went looking for the plum. It was still there. It occurred to me to ask, How is this a poem? More to the point, How is this a plum? I took a bite. I can see humanity from here, I thought to myself. Or at least, I can see parts of it.

hey i have the same name as you do, no joke. it is my middle name but I go by corety all the time. i was just wondering where you got it and i wanted to know the meaning of it. since i never had the chance to actualy know.
My mom just named me after a nurse. FYI i am a female. :) are you?
