Luc Paul, 14 -- My dad taught me little things, like how to patch tires and put them on bikes. Then I started fixing chains and all the bicycle parts. I made, like, seven bikes in a month. I grabbed seven bodies from the dump, and I had fourteen tires. Sold five of them for fifteen to thirty bucks.

I am a Walrus subscriber. I haven't read through all articles yet in this issue on the North, but was immediately drawn to your photo essay.
