Thank you - your depiction of my beloved husband is very well done. I love the pastel softness of his face. We have never liked this photograph since it was his "death picture" courtesy of the military. He looked so sad, probably the saddest I have ever seen him. But your depiction brings out his gentler, kinder expression. Though the sadness does remain, I think that is how he expressed himself. How else would he look? Knowing his beloved wife and children would see this photo the moment they know he is dead.
I would love to have a print of this portrait if that is possible.
