The Walrus Arctic Expedition

The Walrus, Canada's most awarded magazine, has made an editorial commitment to the Canadian Arctic. A special Arctic issue of The Walrus will be published in November 2007 and will feature a substantial feature article by Arctic scholar, Professor Franklyn Griffiths, reporting on the fears, hopes, and intentions of Canada's Inuit as they face climate change, sustainable development planning and more. Professor Griffiths visited 20 remote communities to do original research - sponsored by The Walter and Duncan Gordon Foundation and First Air - for The Walrus.
