The Walrus named
Magazine of the Year

At the 30th Annual National Magazine Awards on Friday night The Walrus was named Magazine of the Year. Before a large and enthusiastic audience at Toronto's Carlu reception hall, editor Ken Alexander and creative director Antonio De Luca accepted the coveted prize on behalf of The Walrus' staff.

The Walrus had topped the list of nominations with 51, and at the end of the evening took home 6 gold and 10 silver medals. The winners are:
